Briefly about bulk floors: what you need to know

Today, in repair work, self -set polymer coatings called bulk floors are often used. It is very easy to use such compositions: you just need to fill the floor with them and wait until the surface dries.

Burning floors are different: epoxy, polyurethane, methyl methacryl and cement-acrylic.

Epoxy floors are distinguished by wear resistance, but are very susceptible to temperature extremes. In addition, you can put the finish coating on such floors only after three days, and operate seven days after application.

Methyl methacryl compounds, like epoxy, are also wear -resistant, and in addition, they are not afraid of temperature changes. You can proceed to further decoration two hours after application.

Polyurethane floors practically do not differ from epoxy, but they are able to withstand high physical activity.

There are three layers in bulk floors. The first serves as the basis made on the basis of epoxy components and fortified fiberglass. The second layer consists of fine -grained quartz sand and pigments. Pouring over the surface, he forms a smooth coating without any cracks and seams. The third layer serves the protection of the floor from dust and mechanical influences, and is made of polymers. Sometimes, to create a decorative effect, a certain shade is given to it.

So that the bulk floors do not flow out, they must be applied to an absolutely flat surface. Reasons flooded with concrete, before processing with bulk floors, it is necessary to withstand at least a month. Then they need to be cleaned, degreased, disgusted and putty. And only then pour with bulk floors.
